Searching for Light

Searching for Light is a collection born from the quiet tension between shadow and illumination. It explores the ways in which grief, memory, and renewal intersect, and how even in moments of uncertainty, fragments of light continue to guide us.

Rather than seeking to erase darkness, the works invite the viewer to recognise how shadow gives form to brightness, and how fragility can be a vessel for strength. Muted tones and softened contrasts are used deliberately, holding space for both presence and absence, sorrow and hope.

This collection is as much an inward gesture of healing as it is an outward offering. It asks the viewer to pause—to linger with the subtle shifts of colour and texture—and in doing so, to discover the quiet resilience and beauty that can be found in the act of searching itself.
